RAF Hednesford was located in Staffordshire on the northern outskirts of Cannock.

It opened in 1938 as a non-flying station and used by 6 School of Technical Training for training flight mechanics, airframe mechanicsairframe fitters, engine mechanics and engine fitters. Post war the station was used for basic training for National Service recruits.
