RAF Henlow is located in Bedfordshire 9 miles (15 kms) north-east of Luton.

RAF Henlow is one of the five original 1918 RAF stations still in use. Originally used to repair aircraft it also housed an RAF technical college as well as a parachute testing unit. During World War Two it served as a major maintenance unit assembling Hurricanes manufactured in Canada. Post war the station was used for radio and signals development. Flying ceased in 2020 and the station is due for closure in 2026.
