Certified that the undermentioned airman is a member of the ROYAL AIR FORCE VOLUNTEER RESERVE, and has not been issued with a Badge as none are available.

[underlined] INFORMATION TO DEFERRED SERVICE RECRUITS. [/underlined]
You will be given 10 to 14 days notice of your recall to [two indecipherable words] and should therefore have ample time to enable you to settle your business affairs.
If you are taken ill prior to receiving your calling up papers you must forward a medical certificate to the Air Officer i/c Records, Ruislip, Middlesex stating the approximate date on which you will be fit to travel. If you are taken ill after receiving your calling up instructions then a similar medical certificate should be sent to the Unit to which you are recalled.
Any change of address must be notified to the Air Officer i/c Records, R.A.F. Ruislip, immediately.
Requests for information regarding probable date of recall, possibility of remustering to another trade are NOT to be made.
