Photo 1 and 4 are the same and are of the ceremony at the church with the priest officiating. Attending are boy choristers and many villagers. Arrowed and aannotated are 'Bgmstr Bernhard, Pfrarr Shifler Ernst Hohlheimer and Bishop Dr Schroffer'.
Photo 2 is a head and shoulders image of a woman.
Photo 3 is a head and shoulders image of a man, annotated 'Josef'.
Photo 5 and 8 are of Josef Hohlheimer and his wife.
Photo 6 and 7 are the same, of two men, two women and a girl. It is annotated 'Hohlheimer Familie [sic] August 1944' Photo 7 also states 'Ernst on left. Parents centre'. Photo 6 has 'Ernst in uniform' and 'Josef'.
A folder containing the photographs is included. On the cover is a post-it note with 'Letter from Ernst Holheimer (Josef's son) and photos of Hohlheimer family. Photo of Mrs Warren at George's St Leonhard's service. The Hohlheimer Family who since Josef collected John Cox and George Warren from the crash site has, with his family, looked after George's grave as if it was of their own family'.
