Bucker 180 ‘Student’.
A two seat primary training monoplane powered by one 50-60 hp Zundapp four cylinder in-line inverted air cooled engine. Max speed 108mph.
Bucker BU 181 ‘Bestmann’.
Experience with its first monoplane the BU 180 Student, convinced Bucker that this layout & structure offered good performance on low power if the weight & drag were kept to a minimum. The company then embarked on the design of the Bestmann primary trainer as a low wing monoplane. The type first flew in 1939 & became the Luftwaffe’s standard primary trainer. The type entered service in 1940 and many thousands were built.
Bucker BU 182 Kornett.
Single seat advanced training machine powered by an 80 hp Bucker M 700 engine.
