Dear Lewis.

So you have got in to Shropshire. Harry Smith is there but I dont know if he is at the same place. I will ask his mother when I see her.

Fred was at Donnington near Salop for quite a while. I have not heard any more of him since Harold went back.

Stanley came up with your Dad from town tonight and we were to send you his congratulations it is the best rank going say’s Stanley. he is with a crew now as [sic] been about a month. his mother said he was expecting his leave in July. how are you getting on with your crew we do hope you have got a good set of lad’s. have you got your clothes yet Renee was delighted to hear of the cap she says that one bite [sic] towards it, but I

want him to get the all [sic] outfit and a great coat (you know Lewis she is please [sic] you have got you [sic] W.O. we all are and I think Dad is just waiting to see you in the rigout. Oh by the way we have a new pair of kid gloves you can have (brown ones) I am going into town tomorrow to see if I can get the badges if I do I will post them straight on mrs Taylor as [sic] been down to Romford and she could have got them there, there was plenty she said. I have not got the laundry yet. All for just now
