483 Items. Collection contains an oral History interview with Sidney and Una Ellis about their childhood in Sheffield during the war and about Flying Officer Ernest Lewis Ellis. (183959 Royal Air Force) He flew operations as a pilot with 166 Squadron and was killed 23 February 1945. Includes letters to and from family and friends, official correspondence, photographs, decorations, personal and official documents, newspaper cuttings, badges (pilot's brevet), maps, his pilot's flying log book and an aicraft notebook.
