Dear Mam & Dad,

We left Scarborough this morning and have just arrived at Wilmslow. I have got in the same hut as Heap & Oates, but Tyler has got put in the next hut.

Yesterday we got paid and I got £5-14-0 so [underlined] if [/underlined] I can get a P.O. Ill send you £1. I don’t know when we shall be moving but Ill write you when I know. We look like being very buisy [sic] so tell Fred and Hats they can write to me & I’ll write as soon as I can.

I havn’t [sic] seen Sayer yet, but I shall have a look for him after tea
