Dear Mam & Dad,

Since I wrote I havn't [sic], heard from you. We havn't [sic] heard any more about leaving but we shouldn’t be long now.

I got a letter from John Smith this dinner time and wrote it the same time as I wrote to you.

Have you seen Hats or Fred yet? When you do tell them to write and I'll try and find time to write to them to night.

Yesterday we got a towel & a pair of shoes dished out to us but thats about the only thing important thats

My grandmas’ and Aunt Grace asked me to write to them be [sic] I shall n,t [sic] have time this week I think. [deleted letters]
