Dear Ma,
Things are still the same here as in my last letter. It is very hot at Present and is likely to get hotter. We get a game of football each week now. I had a letter from Nellie on Wed which was a surprise. Aunty Fanny tells me my second Parcel is on the way at last. If you see the Red Cross People they should give you an extra set of labels to make up for the delay. Personal and fag Parcels coming very Regular now. I'm expecting your fag Parcels any time now. One chap got a Parcel dated 16th March yesterday. I am in good Health and the Very Best of spirits and hope all at Home, 18, Harry and Norman’s are too. Please excuse writting [sic] this Pen is’nt much good. It's good to here [sic] moaning minny [sic] heres [sic] as we do some nights and good to know she does’nt worry you now. Remember me to all my Pals. How is Stan getting on now. Has Mick been called up yet. I must close now
Your Loving Son
