Dear Ma,

Thank you very much for the snaps sent by you and Winnie and the large photo. Things are looking up here now. It is warm enough to sunbathe again and We got one Red cross Parcel each the first since Oct. I hope we don’t go back to one between two again. In the last week I’ve Had ten Letters from you, Winnie and Edith. I am in the Best of Health and Spirits and hope all at home are. Tell Winnie I’ll show her where I was wounded when I see her. On Wednesday I am going to write to air ministry to send you some money £50. for a Holiday for you and Dad. you can Put Half of it in the Bank for me. I have started a dancing Class. I have’nt got your fags yet but they may be here soon. I am sorry to Hear Shirley, Nellie and Eunice have been ill and Hope they’re well again. Please Remember me to Mrs. Hyde and Pepper and offer my sympathy and well wishes. also my friends in manchester. I must Close now hoping this good fortune continues.
