Dear Ma,
Since my last letter nothing much has happened here. The weather has been Very good and its still warm enough to sun-bathe.
We've had the usual entertainments such as concerts, sports, lectures, Classes, and Debates. We've just started a Blow-football cup competition which seems to be successful. It is funny to [rubber stamp] see big men kneel round a table blowing a table tennis Ball about. Many of the games we play are very childish but they Help us Pass time our greatest enemy. The Sgts are putting thier [sic] third concert on next Sat. I hope it's as great a success as the others have been. I have received no letters up to now, but am expecting one any day now. We have just started a library in the camp with some Very old books. I must Close now Hoping this letter finds you in the same good Health and spirit [deleted] this [/deleted] it is leaving me in.
Lots of love
Leslie
