He writes they have had their usual sports but got beaten by the Australians. No letters but they got Red Cross parcels. There has been a debate and spelling Bee. The revue is being held the next day. He is well.

Dear Ma,

Last week we held the usual sports and the Australians held us 51-47. we also Received our Red cross parcels as usual. I am learning shorthand to Pass time on. The weather here is grand and sun-bathing still takes Place. I have received no letters to date. We had a debate and a spelling bee yesterday. We are looking forward to a Revue Produced by one of the Boys tomorrow. I must close now hoping you are in the same good health I’m in
