Description

RAF Desborough was a Bomber Command training station located in Northamptonshire 4 miles (7 kms) south west of Corby.

Opened in September 1943 with three tarmac runways RAF Desborough was home to 84 Operational Training Unit flying Wellingtons and Martinets. The unit disbanded in June 1945 and the station closed in 1946.
