Sorry they had not heard from George. Sorts out a possible misconception from previous correspondence. Talks of his prospective leave and the flying training he still needs to do.

Glad to hear good news that George was safe and sure they were relived. Hope it would not be long before he was home. Writes a little about his own activities and courses and trip as a navigator wireless operator

Jack writes that he has received a letter and parcel. He hadn't written earlier because he was stuck at another airfield. His flight back was cancelled due to the aircraft breaking down. Instead he returned by train.

Jack writes that he has been busy and a planned operation was cancelled at the last minute. He has been into Norwich to watch a film. Various friends have written to him.
