Description
Norman provides some information about 83 Squadron crews to help with arrangements for upcoming 50th anniversary of the squadron. He provides information on Flight Lieutenant Ken Saw and lists of Mackie's Hampden and Manchester crews. He provides some detail of the operation on which he was shot down, including narrative of his navigator refusing to leave until he had obtained and fixed Mackie's parachute. He relates what happens to the rest of his crew. Mackie evaded and eventually reached Spain and back to UK.
