I heard yesterday the good news that John was in England, and would shortly be coming home, and I hastened to write to tell you how pleased we all are at the E.S.A. to know this, and to know that the long period of worry and anxiety, which has been so bravely borne by your husband and yourself is now at an end.
As soon as John feels fit to do so, we shall be very pleased to see him, and I expect that on his part, he would also like to come along and have a chat to a few, at any rate, of the many of his friends at the E.S.A.
Please tell him how very glad we all are to know of his safety.
