I thank you for your letter dated 15.9.43. a copy of which together with [deleted] postcard [/deleted] /letter received by you from the above named and enclosed therewith, has been forwarded to Air Ministry with a request that permission be granted for the personal effects to be released to you on his behalf
The above named’s [sic] [deleted] postcard [/deleted] /letter will be returned and I will write you again as soon as possible.
