Dear Folks, I am still keeping fine, and as usual full of hope!. Well I havent had any mail this week so I expect some next monday. I am also anticipating my cig parcel, because I really need that more than anything else. It is my only pleasure now. So I hope you can see it clear to send me a good amount. I am making enquiries about an allowance. So when they have the necessary forms in I will make one out. By the way you can send cigs very cheaply from Rothmans of Pall Mall London they have special arrangements [deleted] with [/deleted] for P.O.W’s. I shouldn’t bother about sending those house slipper, the plimsols will be sufficient. Anyway!!! I will be home soon !!! ? !!! Regarding study. when the circumstances permit, I am studying, Bookkeeping, Salesmanship, Advertising, Commercial Practice, Shorthand, and advanced English, Maths & Algebra, the latter which I find most interesting. Sometimes, I go to the engineering practice class, (Micrometers Verniers shafting pulley’s hydraulics etc) So you see I am taking every advantage of the school. If, however you find that any other subject would assist me in my future career, let me know
