THE FUNERAL took place last Friday, of Sgt. J. H. Law, R.A.F.V.R., aged 20, only son of Mr. and Mrs. H. F. Law, 66, Linden-road, who was killed on operations in March. He had been a member of the 10th Ashford Scout Troop and the Youth Club. Before joining the R.A.F., he was with 309 Squadron, A.T.C. Floral tributes included those from O.C. 640 Squadron R.A.F.; Officers and Men 640 Squadron; Air Training Corps, 309 Squadron; Old Boys of Ashford Grammar School, and Ashford Youth Club.
