Dear

Don’t be alarmed at this letter, but we have only just got your address from your Ma. Well we sincerely hope that you are O.K and are very pleased to hear of you doing so well in your new carreer [sic]. How do you like Canada and your new surroundings? I guess its a grand life. look like getting a chance yet. The weather here at present is very nice but still cold. I expect you get some thrills now and again in the R.A.F. Fred at [indecipherable word] has just gone back off leave (Embarkation) he is a Lance Jack now. Margaret just told me to give you her best love. We hope you have got some good pals’ too out there and I hear you have very nice people to visit. Well I am afraid I must pack up or I’ll miss the post. So keep your chin up and hope to be seeing you very soon, we keep expecting you will be broadcasting.

So for the present

We say Cheerio

And Best Love from all here.

Yours Sincerely

Mr & Mrs. Foster.
