Dear Ma
I have had two letters from Winnie and one from you during the last week. Mr Cadman has had two from Winnie and wishes to thank her. I know Reg Frame as he is in the same compound as I am. But have’nt met Cpl Huhhen as he is in a different compound. Red Cross Parcels are in again and I hope we get a Regular Supply. We have’nt had the xmas food Parcels yet as we were supposed to have. The weather here is Glorious

Mail from London is Very Poor. I have’nt had one for 9 weeks now although [letter deleted] I average one a week from you or Winnie. Please Remember me to all and give my Regards to Mrs Hind.
I hope this letter finds you as well as it leaves me. Your Loving Son.
