Dear Ma,
Well ma I’ve had two letters from you at last. One from Winnie dated 31st Aug. and 3 from Finsbury Park. The letter I first Got was dated the 30/8/41 and I got it 1/10/41 your 2nd Letter has just arrived with today mail. Thank you for the card. I am quite well and I’ve been writting [sic] to you every week without fail. I hope all at M/C are as well as I am. yesterday (Thurs) I went on a full days Ramble over the Dolomite Mountains and Had an excellent time there. Rambles come around every four days. We’ve just finished a sports meeting today and the Australians beat us easily. We’ll show em next time. I write a Card to you one week and THE Letter to Edith Hallaway and change round each week. Will you let me Know if the R.A.F. send you my Personal Belongings.
