At the top an in-memory-of card for Louisa England who passed away 6 December 1940. Underneath a photograph of a wedding at Holy Trinity Church, Rayleigh, with groom wearing RAF uniform and bride in wedding dress. They are surrounded by guests with children in front. All are standing in front of church gates.
Captioned 'Uncle Jack's wedding 1944, photo of my Uncle Jack (Mum’s youngest brother) you will find me the tiny bridesmaid trying to hide, brother Peter in his Merchant Navy uniform (just shows who he thought about Dad one !!!) and the baby behind him being held by my Nan is young Bob, with Mum standing to his right. The earliest one I have showing all three of Dad’s children'. Additional information about this item was kindly provided by the donor.

He volunteered for aircrew as air gunner and completed operations on 149, 218 and 75 NZ Squadrons on Lancaster and Stirling in 1944/45 and stayed in the RAF after the war. The collection contains his log book, documents, photographs and decorations.

Twenty-five items. Sergeant Barry Colin Wright CGM (1627924) flew an operational tour as a flight engineer on Lancaster with 103 and 166 Squadrons. The collection contains flying logbook, certificate of service and release, documents. letters, newspaper cuttings and photographs. He was badly wounded on an operation to Leipzig 19/20 February 1944.

Winifred is wearing a tailored knee length, short sleeved dress, gloves, a netted hat and a double string of pearls and is holding a bouquet of flowers including roses and fern. The wedding party of nine people, standing on steps behind the couple, includes best man Johnny Boyton, also in RAF uniform and a woman carrying a second bouquet. There is confetti on the couple and on the ground. The reverse is annotated 'wedding 22 June 1945', stamped 'JC Flutter' and an address: '37, Parsonage Crescent, Sheffield, S6 5BJ'.
