Verona Marshalling Yards and Budapest War Cemetery
First is a target photograph taken during an operation to Verona. In the lower left corner is the Adige River with the Ponte Pietra crossing it. The large building to the left of the river bend is the Castel San Pietro. The ancient city wall, with its forts, can be seen entering the image at the lower edge and curving left and then right and up to the top edge. The upper left corner contains fields. The photograph is annotated 'A4' and captioned:

Sergeant Bird's crew award for the best photographs for August 1944. The artwork comprises a drawing of a Wellington with Bird and his crew, Boulton, Bentley, Dean and Beckett named below, set against a circular ribbon with the words: 'THE BEST PHOTOGRAPHS FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST WERE RETURNED BY THE CREW' Some laurel leaves surround the ribbon and below is written: '104 SQUADRON'. The Adriatic and the cliffs to the SE of Pesaro can be seen with the Strada Statale 16 running along the narrow beach. Inland the terraced fields are visible as are a few buildings.

Feuersbrunn Aerodrome Austria
Two target photographs taken on separate operations to Feuersbrunn in Austria.
First photograph shows the grass field but no runways stand out. Vehicle tracks and small bomb craters can be seen. It is annotated 'A4' and captioned:
'1459 FOG. 29/30 JUNE 44 // NT 8". 4300' -> 065° 00.03.

Underneath is written 'Top Notcher' and to the right is written 'Feuersbrunn Aerodrome Austria'.
Second photograph is clearer and shows the extent of the airfield with a perimeter track around it. Two sticks of bombs are exploding across the centre of the airfield and the single hanger can be seen in the upper right quarter. The photograph is annotated 'A4' and captioned:
