The album contains pictures taken at RAF Methwold and Feltwell, Battles in France as part of the RAF Advanced Air Striking Force in 1940, 2 Group target photographs, and Venturas and Photographic Reconnaissance Unit Spitfires. An aerial vertical photograph showing the mouth of a river meeting open water with town and docks on the right. River runs from top downwards before bending left to meet open water. At the river mouth on the left is a defensive fortification. The left bank is a breakwater separating the river from mud flats. On the right a wide basin runs parallel to the river with an entrance inlet at the bottom. There is a further basin through a narrow entrance. The water is surrounded by buildings and docks. There are bomb explosions on land to the right and below the entrance inlet. There are a number of vessels moored on the right side of the river. A small vessel is underway entering the river at the bottom towards the right bank. Captioned 'DenHelder [sic] later by 21 Sqd'.
