NATIONAL ASSOCAITON OF TRAINING CORPS FOR GIRLS
187, WINDSOR HOUSE
46, VISTORIA STREET
LONDON S.W.1
PLEASE QUOTE 45/45
June , 1945
Dear Madam,
Did you enjoy service life?
Did you find the experience and training of value?
Will you, now that you are taking the plunge into civilian life, consider offering your services to the National Association of Training Corps for Girls in order that the present and future members of the Association may profit by your training and experience?
This Association came into existence to meet the demands of girls for a training to fit them for their part in the nation’s war effort; the nation’s peace effort [underlined] is of equal importance. [/underlined] That is why we shall continue after the war to provide training for all girls between 2 and 20 who voluntarily join us, so that they may gain a greater understanding of the problems to be faced and equip themselves to meet them/.
[Page Break]
There are units in all parts of the country catering for the leisure hours of the 14-20 year old girl. More units are needed; more voluntary leaders are needed – leaders with genuine understanding of the ideals of young people and the responsibilities of citizenship. We KNOW that YOU can help US in your spare time.
Please read the leaflet in which this is enclosed and if you are interested, write to me or call.
Yours faithfully,
K Curlett
Director,
National Association of Training Corps for Girls.
