Letter to Mrs Wareing from the Air Council, Casualty Branch
Write expressing their sympathy at the news that her husband Acting Squadron Leader Robert Wareing is missing as a result of an air operation in Northern France. They continue that this does not necessarily mean he is killed or wounded and may well be a prisoner of war and, if so, he will be able to communicate with her in due course. Enquiries are being made through the International Red Cross and should they receive any news they will convey it directly to her.
