Aerial inclined photograph showing a large number of railway sidings running from left to right. At the bottom left is a railway turntable with a large number of tracks spreading out towards a large building on the right hand side with part of its roof destroyed. There are a number of locomotives on these tracks. In the centre right are a two long sheds with a destroyed building at the right hand end. Two lines of rolling stock leads towards the sheds. At the left end of the lower line is a bomb crater into which with two wagons have fallen. The upper line also has some derailed wagons. Above the lines of wagons is a area with only scattered rolling stock with several bomb craters visible among the railway tracks. At the top are more rolling stock including some tanker wagons. On the left an oblique aerial photograph of the River Rhine with a destroyed steel girder bridge with both spans collapsed into the river. This is the Raiffeisen road bridge. The Rhine which is running left to right, is split at this point into two channels. The spit of land runs from mid left to bottom right. On the far bank are a few buildings including a factory with a chimney. On the near bank, level with the end of the spit is a colonnaded tower, the Pegelturm. In the middle distance are some small built up areas beyond which is open countryside. Electricity pylons run from right to left three quarters way up. Captioned 'Bridge near Coblenz'.
On the right an oblique aerial photograph of a badly damaged town on a river, This is Kassel looking east, with the River Fulda zigzaging from middle left toward the bottom right. On the nearside buildings have mostly been reduced to rubble with just some standing walls. On the right is part of a multistory building. A road runs from bottom centre up through a roundabout to the river where the road bridge has totally disappeared. This is the Fuldabrucke bridge. Towards the left end of the river is a weir, the Staustufe Kassel, and lock with another intact bow string girder bridge beyond, the Ysenburgstrasse. On the far bank are more blocks of destroyed buildings and industrial areas. Beyond is open countryside with a few built up areas including various chimneys towards the top. Captioned 'Kassel'.

There are a line of bomb explosions along the bottom side of the basin from below the mouth to about one third way along. Roads and dockyard buildings surround the basin. Aerial vertical photograph of Wilton Shipyards. On the left the Nieuwe Maas river with entrance to Vijfsluizen basin (Wiltonhaven). Several small craft are leaving it and spreading out on the river. Just inside the entrance, on the top side, several jetties have ships moored alongside. There are more ships moored further to the right towards the end of the basin - three are in floating docks with gangways connected them to shore. Dockyard buildings along the top side of the basin, including a shipyard with a ship on a launching slipway. Four bomb impacts can be seen in the river to top side of the basin entrance; series of bomb explosions stretching from the jetting to the right of the entrance, diagonally to the bottom side of the basin. Aerial vertical photograph of dock area. On the left a canal running vertically from top to bottom. At the bottom an inlet dock runs towards the centre. On the left side of the inlet six tanks and two small ships moored on jetties. Above the inlet dockyard and other industrial buildings. To the right a railway with marshaling yard runs from top to bottom. There are some lines of rolling stock scattered on various tracks. There are dark coloured bomb explosions visible at the right side of the industrial buildings. A further line of light coloured bomb explosions runs from the right end of the dock inlet over to and including the bottom of the marshaling yard as well as on the left centre of the railway. A railway line runs from top left into a large marshalling yard in the centre right which contains a large amount of rolling stock. Another railway line runs from just above the river to the same marshalling yard. The main part of the town is in the top half above the railway lines.
