Navigator's, Air Bomber's and Air Gunner's Flying Log Book for Wireless Operator Laurie Davis (nickname Red) covering the period 19 November 1943 to 30 April 1946 and detailing training flights and operations. Served at RAF Llandwrog, RAF Silverstone and RAF Waddington. Aircraft flown in were Dominie, Proctor, Anson, Wellington and Lancaster. Pilots flown with included: Flight Sergeant Page, Flight Sergeant Clarke, Pilot Officer Hayley, Flight Sergeant Lind, Flight Sergeant George, Flight Sergeant Jury, Pilot Officer Porter, Sergeant Barton, Sergeant Wilby, Pilot Officer Goldsworthy, Pilot Officer McMaster, Flight Sergeant Mason, Flight Sergeant Thorpe, Pilot Officer Reed, Flying Officer Hawkins, Flying Officer Smith, Sergeant Taylor, Flight Sergeant Moss, Flying Officer Bone, Pilot Officer Davis, Flying Officer Wykes, Flying Officer Blow, Flying Officer West, Flight Lieutenant Langdon, Flight Lieutenant Roberts and Wing Commander Fothergill. His pilot on operations was Flying Officer Taylor. Laurie Davis flew on night operations to Harburg, Lutzkendorf, Würzburg, Bohlen and Wesel. He flew daytime operations to Essen and Dortmund. He flew four Operation Dodge sorties and served in India with 617 Squadron as part of the Tiger Force.
