Oscar Woolner’s Flying Log Book from 20th February 1944 until 10th April 1945. Trained as an air gunner at No. 1 Air Gunnery School, 29 Operational Training Unit, 1660 Conversion Unit and No. 5 Lancaster Finishing School. Posted to 619 Squadron for operations in October 1944.

Served at RAF Pembrey, RAF Bruntingthorpe, RAF Swinderby, RAF Syerston, RAF Strubby.

Aircraft flown were Anson, Wellington III, Wellington X, Stirling, Lancaster.

He flew 23 bombing operations with 619 Squadron (4 day and 19 night). His targets were Westkapelle, Homberg, Dusseldorf, Gravenhorst, Munich, Politz, Merseburg, Brux, Siegen, Karlsruhe, Ladbergen, Dresden, Rositz Oil refinery, Bohlen Oil Plant, Sassnitz, Essen, Dortmund, Wurzburg, Molbis, Leipzig.

His pilot for all operations was Flight Lieutenant Davis.
