Sir,
The King will hold an Investiture at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday, the 8th December, 1942, at which your attendance is requested.
It is requested that you should be at the Palace not later than 10.15 o’clock a.m.
DRESS – Service Dress, Morning Dress or Civil Defence Uniform.
This letter should be produced on entering the Palace, as no further card of admission will be issued.
Two tickets for relations or friends to witness the Investiture may be obtained on application to this Office and you are requested to state your requirements on the form enclosed.
Please complete the enclosed form and [underlined] return immediately [/underlined] to the Secretary, Central Chancery of the Orders of Knighthood, St. James’s Palace, London, S.W.1.
