Dearest Ma,
Everything is going to schedule here and everyone is happy except for the fact that we had to attend church parade.
The weather has broken here now and we have had rain and low cloud but it has not interfered with flying at all yet. Let us hope that it is fairly fine next week so that we may get in a few more hours.
Have you started the moving machinery in motion yet? I bet you are enjoying it all but you wait until all the roofs start to leak and the chimney pots start coming in the dining room.
[page break]
Batch have been looking round for tennis courts but as yet have not found any near enough for convenience but they are building a hard court near the Aerodrome hotel so maybe we can use that later.
Meanwhile our sports consist of walking but we have found a Gray hound track in Ayr so when the exchequer allows, we will pay it a visit. Have you been to Catford lately?
The Scots people here are very friendly and can they talk. Your hen party would feel absolutely at home up here. Give them my love.
I am sending another snap of our intrepid aviator, hoping it meets with your approval.
