Description
Eight members of the Chiselhurst and Sidcup branch of the Royal Air Forces Association and ex Flight Lieutenant Oliver Philpot demonstrate the escape from a German prisoner of war camp with a replica wooden vaulting horse. A description pasted to the reverse of the photograph indicates that the man on the left is Philpot, who was one of the original escapees from Stalag Luft 3.
