Description

Explains that he flew Blenheims and the special duties Lysanders before going to 57 Squadron flying operations on Wellingtons. Wounded, and eye damaged in June 1941, no longer fit as pilot, he retrained as a navigator and after training tours returned to operations and completed his tour as a Stirling navigator on 7 Squadron before transferring to 620 Squadron on SOE duties.
