Interpretation of aerial photographs taken during an attack on the fishing wharves at Ostend by eleven Bostons of 88 and 226 Squadrons, Bomber Command, escorted by fighters. Two photographs are attached to the report. The first is annotated 'OSTEND SA 126 29.8.42 EN20. Dupe Neg No 1192' and captioned ' 20 EN 88 29-8-42 F/14'. Two areas on the photograph , C and E, are delineated with broken lines. These are referred to in the typewritten report. The second photograph is annotated 'OSTEND SA 126 29.8.42 DA6. Dupe Neg No 1194'. Four areas, F, G, H and J, are delineated with broken lines and referred to in the typewritten report.
