Description
A large group of airmen wearing tunics and side caps sitting and standing in four rows in front of a hangar door. On the reverse all the names of those present and caption 'Group photograph taken at RAF Sealand (near Chester), October 1940. Intermediate flying training on Miles Master aircraft. This unit was no 5 flying training school (F.T.S) and it moved to Tern Hill (near Shrewsbury) in December. The course completed its training February 15 1941'. Jo Lancaster is sixth from left in second row up.
