Pages for January and part of February 1938 recoding sorties in Hart aircraft. Includes first solo. Last page has summary of hours and proficiency from flying school. Note he had been suspended from further training due to breach of flying discipline. Doing aerobatics at low level and crashing. Last page has newspaper cutting with photograph of damaged Hart and brief account of air crash at Kenilworth (from Midland Daily Telegraph).
