Description
Pilots flying log book one for R W Bartlett, covering the period from 10 December 1940 to 30 September 1943. Detailing his flying training and instructor duties. He was stationed at 4 Elementary Flying Training School RAF Brough, 8 Service Flying Training School RAF Montrose, Central Flying School RAF Upavon, 5 Service Flying Training School RAF Tern Hill, 36 Service Flying Training School RCAF Penhold and 34 Service Flying Training School RCAF Medicine Hat. Aircraft flown in were tiger Moth, Master, Hurricane, Tutor, Oxford, and Harvard. His log book includes photographs of some of his pupils: Renyard, Rippon, Harrison, Sheppard, Hotz, Hynes, Homes, Johnston, Dunward, Bates, Egan, Bone, Farmer, Yan Roosendaal, Spring, Jones (Scrubbed), Chauvet (Scrubbed), Pettitt, Tattershaw, and Epstein.
