A port side view of Halifax LW623 coded DT-S, of B Flight, 192 Squadron, preparing for take off with engines running sometime during 1944. LW623 was the from the first generation of 192 Halifax Mk 3s. It was without H2S, Monica, and Boozer. It would instead, have had a mid under gunner.
On the reverse 'Halifax "S" for Sugar (192 BS Sqdn.) Ready for take off from RAF Foulsham'.
