Gives service history of Wing Commader N A J Mackie DSO, DFC currently OC Admin at RAF Coningsby. Completed 32 operations on Hampdens and Manchesters with 83 Squadron. Instructional tour on Wellingtons then return to 83 Squadron on Lancasters. Shot down on 20th operation of second tour. Baled out, evaded to Switzerland at then Spain and return to UK. Joined 571 Squadron and flew a further 40 operations. Continues with post war service history flying Lincolns on 12 Squadron and Canberras on 69 Squadron as well as ground tours. Lists postings, types of employment and executive posts. Additional notes on the reverse with up to date postings and course undertaken.
