Description
Writes of his research amongst former German fighter crews to find a copy of "Jagerblatt" in which may have been details of a specific mission. Relates his own experiences during the war in detail, eventually becoming a night fighter pilot with 11 confirmed kills. Continues with experience after the war as a pilot in the new German air force. Then provides some details of German night fighter operations and of some notable pilots. Mentions the effect of window, wild sau (with Bf 109 and Fw190) operations, the invention and use of "Schrage Musik" and Me 262 operations against British Mosquito aircraft.
