Notified that Mrs Lovegrove had received confirmation from the Red Cross that her son had died after an accidental fall. Gives biographic details of family as well as education, employment, RAF training and operations. Gives detail of last operation to Hamburg where he was the only survivor from his shot down Manchester. He was a prisoner in Oflag XX1B in Poland.
