Description
Mausoleum of Sudun Amir Majlis, Cairo. Top right is a street scene of a row of flat roofed buildings with an oil drum with a sign in the roadway with a lorry and other vehicles.
Centre left the altar in the damaged Catholic Church.
Centre right a group of five uniformed men in an, right hand drive, open vehicle, identified with the number 70 on the driver's door. The vehicle is in front of a signpost showing the directions of Tobruk, Gamut, Bardia, Acroma, Gazala Tmimi and another (obscured) place. The driver and one other man are wearing dark goggles and another man has his goggles rating on his forehead.
Bottom left two men in civilian clothes standing alongside the fuselage of a Wellington with the identification letter D. A ladder is resting against the tail of the aircraft and it is in a sandy area.
