As the Officer detailed to supervise the collection of your Son’s belongings, may I be permitted to offer you my deepest sympathy during this time of your great anxiety.
Your Son’s personal belongings, have been carefully checked and packed and in accordance with Air Ministry instructions are being sent to:-
The Officer Commanding,
Central Depository,
R.A.F. Colnbrook,
Slough, Bucks.
to whom any communications regarding them should be addressed.
I must advise you however, that no effects can be released until certain statutory formalities have been complied with. You will be hearing from the Central Depository in due course.
