Kay Darling
Many thanks for yours of Sat's date.
I feel certain that I have written you as least every other day, consequently I can't understand why you didn't receive anything between Tues & Friday.
Yes, Yes, my sweet, Glad to hear Dad acknowledged your letter, he's usually pretty good at replying.
I thought there was something funny regarding the Insurance, I expect it was just for fire & theft.
I wish Tim could get the Income Tax transferred, he always seems to be up against it.

(2).
We should be getting our leave, if all is 'bingo’ on or about the 15th of next month, possibly slightly before.
Had been busy over the weekend, I couldn't wire you, maybe thought time you get a weekend I will be able to tell you something definite.
Had a letter from [indecipherable name] enclosing the Lion, afraid it's hardly suitable, but we may have it painted on the kite, I think it would better than a flying stork, don't you, after all NULLI SECONDUS hardly goes with a stork, I think a lion is far more in keeping.
Afraid I have not much in the news line. Am keeping pretty fit, no colds etc. It's fine not to have to worry about my throat. Unfortunately I have to have another injection, [indecipherable word]

[indecipherable word] so dont worry, it only means no flying for 48 hours, in any case dont suppose I'll feel like it.
Mac has returned, full of Gen, he got very high marks, I do think he knows his stuff. We have a new Tail Gunner. – Frank Kean, bang on fellow. Ian has gone Mid Upper. That should make us 'NULLI SECUNDUS'.
I must drop Ivor a note & thank him for the effort, it's very good really.
God bless you my Darling
Always Yours
