Navigator's , air bomber's and air gunner's flying log book for Ken Adams, air gunner. Covers period from 16 June 1943 to 18 November 1944. Details his training and operational flying. He was stationed at RAF Andreas, RAF Ossington, RAF Gamston, RAF Wombleton and RAF Linton on Ouse. Aircraft flown were Anson, Halifax (Mk 3 and Mk 7), Lancaster Mk 2 and Wellington. He flew 33 operations with 408 Squadron; 22 at night and 11 daylight. Targets were Berlin, Aulnoye, Essen, Cologne, Saint-Ghislain, Calais, Ghent, Merville, Aahen, Longues, Paris, Le Mans, St Pol, Boulogne, Oisemont-Neuville, Saint-Martin-l'Hortier, Bienque, Forêt d'Eawy, Siracourt, Criel-Thiverny, Hamburg, La Pallice, Mont Richard, Falaise, Melsbroek airfield (Brussels), L' Hey, Volkel airfield (Eindhoven), Duisburg, Dortund, Homberg and Munster. His pilots on operations were Wing Commander Easton, Flight Lieutenant Latimer and Pilot Officer McIntyre.
