I am directed to refer to a letter from this Department dated the 22nd November, 1943, and to inform you with regret that a report has now been received from the International Red Cross Committee which states that your husband, Flight Sergeant Stanley Shaw, Royal Air Force, was buried on the 24th August, 1943, on the South Shore, Kolpin-See, Mecklenburg, Germany. No actual grave number is given but I am to assure you that when any further details are received you will be notified.

In conveying this information I am to express the very deep sympathy of the Department with you in your great loss.

Presumption of death action will follow in due course.
