6. Lack of application or interest: Lacks interest in flying and/or will not apply himself to the best of his ability.
7. Poor Airmanship: Poor on the rules and regulations of flying.
[underlined] FLYING SUB-CATEGORY 4 [/underlined] – 1. Good emotional control: This designates those trainees who are unable to control an aircraft but who show no signs of emotional upset over their poor flying (e.g. satisfied with poor performance, apparently no realization of errors).
2. Partial lack of emotional control: To the degree that it interferes with the trainee's neuromuscular (nervous and muscular) control of his actions, and therefore with his flying performance (e.g. cannot keep from getting tense, the "nervous type").
3. Little or no emotional control: Control so completely lacking that trainee is prepared to wash-out either voluntarily or on advice (e.g. admits fear and requests wash-out).
