Dear mum & dad,
Just a few lines to let you know I'm still O.K. and looking after myself.
We've had some pretty rough weather since I came back, and today we've had to go out on snow-clearing work on the 'drome as it's six inches deep at least. The walking we did made our legs ache a bit, but for the amount of shoveling we did we shouldn't suffer from tired arms or shoulders at all, the lads with the snow ploughs had done quite a

good job of work.
We've not done much flying since we came back and havn't done any more towards our tour but there's time yet if the Russians don't go too fast.
They certainly are pushing Jerry back all along the line arn't they. I'll bet the people in Berlin are having a nice time wondering what their fate will be.
Well what's the news of Ron & Les? I suppose by now Les will have got back to his ship again and Ron will be back at work too, I wish I

could go over there and see Ron and Les they sure would be suprised [sic] then, still it's no use wishing so I suppose I'll have to wait with you until they both come home again.
I can't think of any more to say for now so I'll close and write again as soon as I've time.
Look after yourselves and keep well.
Goodnight & God Bless.
Your Loving Son.
